I designed a logo for voynich.ninja, a forum dedicated to discussion of the mysterious Voynich Manuscript.

I aimed to make the logo feel new and modern, yet also connect to the old style of the original manuscript. I also had to make it readable and recognisable at a small size in the website’s header. To achieve these, I borrowed some visually striking elements from the manuscript and rendered them as vector drawings with bold colours. The inky, curved style of the “voynich ninja” text was inspired by the style of the writing in the manuscript itself.
